What are some folk bands that aren’t solely acoustic guitar based?
Jon asked:
I want to start a folk band but most of my friends all play guitar and nothing else. I play guitar, piano, drums, and I’m totally willing to learn a new instrument if needed.
I just need to know of some other folk band that isn’t solely one guy playing the acoustic guitar and singing. I would love to hear some with piano, cause it’s my favorite.

Instruments likely to be heard in a folk band are fiddle, banjo, mandolin, penny whistle, pan pipes, recorder, hammer dulcimer, hand drum, tambourine, auto harp.
You should totally form some kind of Bob Dylan-style mock-up band. That would be awesome.
