    I love plenty of others. Eluveitie does get top honors
    at least at the moment. I am guessing you are listing Iced Earth as Battle Metal? They do talk about it enough, but I still think of them as PowerMetal/Thrash… maybe I am stuck in my ways.

    Never really heard them included with the “Folk” sounding bands.

    also I give Melechesh, Dalriada and Lyriel honorable mention.

    Melechesh would certainly be on their, but as “Oriental” themed Metal I just don’t think “Folk” with them (or Distorted) you know?

    Well I wouldn’t call Iced Earth, Hammerfall, or Manowar any of those but then again I ain’t picky either. Just wanted You to know why they weren’t on My list even though I love Em, specially Iced Earth
